Good student!
The greatest treasure is that which a person can carry in his or her head. Such treasure must be collected. Studying at university shows your ambition. One can graduate from high school hardly noticing it but enrolment in university is already a conscious choice.

It is easier for educated people to find jobs and cope with their life. Jobs may be offered already during studies. Then you need to think through whether the job is attractive enough and whether it complies with your ambitions. It is important to keep in mind that you will not be invited to work in spite of learning in university, but just because of that.

The catalog you hold in your hand gives you the opportunity to choose a place of work or practice. If you think you can manage working during school - go for it. But learning is still most important. New job offers are always being made for those who are learning.

Dear entrepreneur!

The most important force in Tallinn University of Technology are its active students, whom I will try to involve more in the processes of decision-making and development of new plans in my new term as the rector. Effective partners in this are indisputably student organisations, particularly BEST-Estonia. BEST binds us more closely to the world and other technical universities, thus giving the overall internationalisation a new dimension.

BEST-Estonia operates in TUT since 1991, having excelled during this time with the successful execution of several projects. The career event Võti Tulevikku is among one of the largest and fullest of responsibility. In 2010 the event reached its 20th anniversary. 24 companies attended the fair and it was visited by nearly 2500 students.

Võti Tulevikku is the only project of its kind aimed at students in Estonia, which provides an opportunity for creating a direct and functional contact between representatives of firms seeking young professionals to their teams and students in search of a practice- or workplace. Students also have the opportunity to participate in workshops and lectures on topics of general interest.

On the fair Võti Tulevikku hundreds of students have found themselves a job which values their good education. I hope they will continue to find practical contacts through this fair in order to make a well-considered job choices. The actions of BEST thus help young people just starting an independent life to make their dreams a reality. I support active members of BEST-Estonia in the endeavors and I warmly recommend companies to take part in the project organised by BEST-Estonia - Võti Tulevikku.
